Privacy Policy

The short version: We collect only what we need to complete your installation. Your database credentials are transmitted securely, used only to configure your local bridge, and are never stored on our servers.
1. Who We Are
Data Vault Bridge is a service provided by EBSS Web Studio, a web design and AI software development company based in Las Vegas, Nevada. You can reach us at eric@ebssweb.com.
2. What Information We Collect
When you submit the setup intake form, we collect:
- Your name and email address
- Your business name (optional)
- Your operating system type
- Your selected service plan
- Your database connection details (host, database name, port, username, password)
- A description of the data you track and any notes you provide
When you use the contact modal on our website, we collect your name, email address, and message.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you provide exclusively to:
- Complete your Data Vault Bridge installation
- Communicate with you about your setup appointment
- Send you a confirmation email upon form submission
- Respond to contact inquiries
We do not use your information for marketing, advertising, or any purpose beyond delivering the service you requested.
4. Database Credentials
Your database password is never stored. It is transmitted over HTTPS directly to our email via Resend and exists only in that email thread. Once your installation is complete, we recommend rotating your database password as a best practice.
We strongly recommend creating a read-only database user specifically for this integration rather than sharing your primary database credentials. We are happy to help you create one during your setup appointment.
5. How We Store and Protect Your Information
All form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption). Your intake form data is delivered to our email inbox via Resend, a transactional email service. We do not maintain a database of client submissions on our servers.
Our website is hosted on Vercel, which provides enterprise-grade infrastructure with SOC 2 compliance.
6. Information Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties except:
- Resend — used to deliver transactional emails (your intake form submission and confirmation emails). Resend processes data in accordance with their privacy policy.
- Vercel — our hosting provider processes HTTP requests including form submissions as serverless functions. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- Legal requirements — if required by law or legal process.
7. Data Retention
Your intake form submission is retained in our email inbox for the duration of your service relationship with EBSS Web Studio. You may request deletion at any time by emailing eric@ebssweb.com.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Request a copy of the information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of your information
- Withdraw consent for us to contact you
To exercise any of these rights, email eric@ebssweb.com with "Privacy Request" in the subject line. We will respond within 5 business days.
9. Cookies
This website does not use tracking cookies, analytics cookies, or advertising cookies. We do not use Google Analytics or any third-party tracking scripts.
10. Children's Privacy
Our service is intended for business owners and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent update. Continued use of our service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
